Mackenzie

Mackenzie Babichenko brings more than sixteen years of prosecution experience, including over a decade serving Hanover County. She began her career in 2010 as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Portsmouth, joined the Hanover County office in 2014, and was promoted through every level before being elected the county's first woman Commonwealth's Attorney.

 

Since taking office she has served with a strong record of holding serious offenders accountable, protecting children, leading the region's fight against human trafficking, and standing with victims.

Mackenzie and her husband, Igor, live in the Mt. Hermon area at the center of Hanover County with their three children. In their rare free time, they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
